My father got a google home mini from his office as some prize. With nothing better in mind, I set an alarm of 6am in the morning for no reason. It was plugged in in the living room at full volume with a alarm tone so irritating, it would want you to shut down your brain instead of the alarm.
I was sleeping in my room apparently 5000 lightyears away from the living room in the cozy warmth of my blanket. The door of the room was open because I forgot to close it and I did not dare to get out of bed and close it as the chilling temperature wont allow me to do so. I slept and had a dream about THE MATRIX( I have been having a Keanu marathon) and then there was the sound of the doom, coming straight into my room through that open door, pulling me out from THE MATRIX right into my Zion. I waited for someone else to wake up and turn it off, I waited for it to automatically go into snooze, none of that happened. I shuffled in the bed accidently making my leg go out of the blanket. The people on the lower floor must have felt my shivering. The sleepiness was gone but a decision was yet to be made, whether to face the cold or the alarm. I chose to face the cold. Slowly, I removed the blanket and set my foot on the floor... on the wrong side, the slippers were on the other side, and the sweater on another planet. I hurriedly searched for the slippers in the dark and wore them in the opposite feet, I walked towards the living room hitting various stuff in the way and finally was able to turn off the alarm. Now the question was what to do next? The bed would be cold by now. It was the 5th day of the Australia test match. I was assuming that the highlights would be playing by now but fortunately Rishabh Pant saved the day.
The reason I wrote this is.. I don't know really. This might be a Rishabh Pant appreciation post, or maybe to warn you that don't set alarms in random devices in winter or maybe I just want to talk to someone about THE MATRIX or JOHN WICK or anything because no one talks to me☹️.
Stay safe, and hope that the vaccines give good results.
BYE
I don't know you but somewhere I thought that this story has written by Christopher Nolan . The way u merge freezing cold , little bit science ( specially light years ),cricket ,and human brain . I really appreciate that . Keep it onnn. Another thing is that Pujara also played crusial role in the win against Australia
