I am talking about the golden era of TV serials -90's (most of readers belong to). We woke up early morning onSundays just to watch our favourite show and sometimes biggest task was to rush home from school, throw our bags on floor grab the remote and be in front of TV before anyone (mom chided to change dress and to have some food). We were not fond of this behaviour but the recording was not possible at that time. So if you are familiar with these go and refresh your memories….or tell about these to today’s kids who haven’t gotten a chance to watch these amazing shows.

Here is short list of some famous serials of our time which you can watch during the lockdown

1.             

The best Indian superhero of all time, Shaktimaan. Now I amaze that how in those days we all consider him a real hero. And the most interesting part is the transformation of a regular reporter into superhero by a strange helicopter spiral ....thing. Complete concept of show refers to 'Desi' style (powers by meditation) and also about his costume (atleast his underwear is on inside! ).

2. 

How many of you go to stationery and markets to get that magic pencil ?And also realize that your drawings aren't coming to actual life .Every Indian kid's wish was to have that magic pencil and to live in the world of Shaka Laka Boom Boom, weren't we .This TV show was a crucial element in the childhood of an Indian 90s kid. And seriously don’t we all secretly wish that we could have that pencil in real life.

3. 

Thoda jaadu, thodi shararat........! I am damn sure, you just startedhumming the theme song of the most popular Indian TV show of all time, Shararat. The theme of this show is lovable family of three generations of witches with pure hearts. Nani was the favourite one character of all.

4. 

The best AI robot of our time Karishma. Sometimes I also think that the robot(chitti) character shown in blockbuster movie of Rajnikanth is also based on our beloved karishma...

The whole show is based on human like cute robot (Karishma) who also have human senses.
